We love cyclocross a whole lot, but we love the dogs of cyclocross even more. In the first edition of our new segment Fur Friend Friday, we say hello to Ellie, a very good (and very silly) golden retriever from Victoria.

My humans aren’t CX racers, but they have family based in Victoria who race in the Victorian CX Series.

Tell us a little bit about your furry friend! 

I’m a five-year-old golden retriever who loves pats, sunshine, and being a bit silly. My humans aren't CX racers themselves, but I was spotted at a couple of CX races in Victoria in 2019, and later found myself as one of the models for the 2020 Dogs of Australian Cyclocross Calendar #bluesteel.

All the positive attention and pats I received means I’m very keen to come along again!

If we see your dog at a race, can we give him or her pats?
