Have you raced at worlds before?
This will be my first time at the world championship.
How are you feeling heading into worlds?
I am both excited and nervous for worlds because I think it will be a great experience but I have never seen cyclocross on this scale and at such a high level before.
Tell us about your prep for worlds!
I traveled to Japan in November last year with the junior Australian development team to compete in the Lake Biwako GP. This was my first overseas race and I placed 4th in U19’s. During the school holidays I have been up in Bright and training at Mystic Mountain Bike Park as well as on the mountain climbs that the area has to offer.
What are you hoping to get out of your worlds experience?
I am hoping to soak up the experience of the big European cyclocross races and the culture around them.
How do we spot you on course?
I’ll be wearing a white so I should be easy to spot!
