Cyclocross racing in the Napier region of New Zealand’s North Island.
From the Cyclocross Hawke’s Bay Facebook page:
Race #1 is finally here ... It will be worth the wait!
Just 6 days until the 2021 Bay Ford Cyclocross HB series gets underway.
It’s one of your favourite courses, yes it is, because we do post series surveys, so don’t argue with our sweeping statements. This Sunday 30 May it’s time to finally get your hands on some guppies and get down and dirty at Guppy Road.
If you haven't raced our series before, the Race HQ is based at the end of Guppy Road at the picturesque Tutaekuri River Reserve. The course weaves its way along the bush tracks and up and down the stock banks parallel to the river. Be prepared to duck under, or jump over, the odd fallen tree branch!
There are already a stack of series entrants, and entries are also now open for a single race entry.

There are NO ON THE DAY ENTRIES ... so enter now.
Kids are free so register them now ... if they're not in the mood, just don’t turn up. We don’t mind if they change their mind, but make sure they are entered. We recommend entering them into the series, so you're sorted for all races, whether they turn up or not!

Do you have any bike issues?
Book into the workshop at My Ride Hastings, but be in early in the week, they are fully booked most days. There is also a great selection of mountain bikes, gravel bikes and cross bikes in store.
We'll be doing our best to put on Bay Espresso coffee, hot chocolate, home baking and the usual suspects of spot prizes at the Roosters Prizegiving ... and the Big Bobbles will be available to purchase!
We’re looking forward to seeing you there ...
