Our series finale takes place at the stunning Paritua Vineyards ... yes, it’s time to see who has what it takes in the medal round of the Bay Ford HB Cyclocross Series 2021.
It's the last chance to cast your eyes to the points table
https://www.webscorer.com/seriesresult?seriesid=243425 ... so get out your abacus and work out who is in the hot seat, and who has a chance to take all the glory in the final round. Remember it’s your best five results that count towards your total, and you must have completed at least three races to be in to win.
Our hand crafted series trophy’s are ready to be given out, along with special medals for 2nd and 3rd.
A huge thanks to Jason Bye and Glinta Creative for crafting them.

So, whats going to happen on Sunday? ... we’re not fortune tellers here at CXHB, but most likely the day will roll something like this:
Wake up ... optional, but recommended.
Shake out the legs, flex the biceps, you’re feeling sassy, time for some cross action!
Get yourself a Bay Espresso coffee, ground, espresso, filter, whatever ... after a few you’ll be ready to go for anything.
Grab your reusable mug for the coffee/hot chocolates - we’re zero waste remember! -and get ready to head out to Paritua Winery.
Wait, you didn’t look up the address, where are the directions for Paritua Winery?
https://www.cyclocrosshawkesbay.com/parituawinery
You find the venue ... what an epic course, is that a meandering stream crossing? brrrrrr!
Ride some warm up laps, grab a fudge bar for last minute energy, or maybe you're more of a cookie person ... you just saved having to dispose of a gel wrapper by eating real food, what a legend!
Watch the epic action in the kids races, secretly glad you don’t have to race against them, because they’d probably kick most of our butts.
Race time, rock the Cross!
Finish ... hot chocolates and coffees all round, and some homemade baking hit the spot.
Maybe peruse the Paritua wine selection ... remember this moment in the future with a great tasting wine!

Home time ... why not go via Roosters Brewhouse, because it’s just around the corner in Omahu Road, and nothing says I just smashed a cross race, like a Roosters burger and fries.
