Folks - just a reminder that the next event is on this Saturday 8 August at the Eastern States Speedway venue at Renwick. This will be a night event using the venues floodlights so there will be no need to use any bike lights.

Mostly a flat course but still some interesting features to test you and of course if you go fast and hard it will push your heart rate beyond maximum for the entire duration. Forecast is for occasional rain on Friday and showers clearing Saturday. Hopefully just enough moisture to make it slippery!

The Marlborough Mountain Bike Club has their 2nd XC event the next day in Picton so you should have time to recover and do that event too. Bit of extra training for anyone looking at some future races. http://www.marlboroughmountainbikeclub.co.nz/xc-series-2020…

We will be setting up the course during the day. Proposed timings for the evening:

5:00pm Rego and warm up
6:00pm - Kids and Novices, 15mins
6:15pm - 6:45pm, Practice laps
6:45pm - A Grade, 30mins
7:15pm - CX Grade, 45mins.

We'd appreciate it if you could enter online and early. We're keen to get the events underway ASAP and finish on time too so we can all get home at a reasonable hour.
