Do you want to try CX, or have a friend that does?
Great news! Next Saturday Let's Talk About CX will be hosting a Cyclocross Intro Day, designed to introduce new riders to the muddy, sweaty and awesome world of CX.
We'll meet at Guide Dogs Victoria at 9am on Saturday for a cyclocross information seminar put together by the amazing Lara Srbinovski, which will answer common questions about starting out in cyclocross, as well as give attendees a chance to ask questions of their own. That'll likely run for around an hour.
After that we'll run through a few of the key cyclocross skills, including starts, cornering, dismounting/remounting, and (of course) handups. Once it's all done (likely around noon), we'll likely head to the pub for lunch.
The vibe will be super laidback and welcoming - no rider is too inexperienced to come along, and no question is too silly to ask. If you've already got cyclocross experience to spare and want to share your insight while also practicing your skills, you're more than welcome too!
