Join Bridge Road Brewers in beautiful Beechworth for this weekend-long gravel cycling event, showcasing some of the Victorian High Country’s most picturesque back roads.
Whether you’re into getting dirty on a freewheeling farm lane and bush track adventure or conquering some classic High Country climbs, the MAAP Beechworth Granite Classic needs to be a lock on your cycling calendar. Racing or riding, spectating or supporting, this is a weekend that celebrates cycling culture in what is fast becoming one of the countries understated, adventure cycling meccas.

TOR Bikes presents : A Bike Expo
Friday April 22
Bike builders and brands will showcase their wares at this low key expo in the Bridge Road Brewhouse.
Featuring stunning bikes by the likes of Tor, Prova, Baum, Lost Workshop, Lyrebird and Bastion as well as a cameo from the original Specialized 'Rock Combo', a circa 1989 Gravel Bike.
Bar/snacks/carbs available
This event will also act as early registration for Saturday’s ride
MAAP Beechworth Granite Classic
Saturday April 23
An all new BGC ride experience this year, 2022’s route takes in the champagne gravel of Mount Pilot National Park and it’s seemingly endless network of fast rolling surfaces and glorious, rugged vistas. Riders can choose from 3 widely varied, fun and challenging loops to cater for all levels of ability.

Soiree and Dinner with Mike Tomalaris presented by Shimano
Join your host Mike Tomalaris as we share war stories from the days ride at the dinner party by Bridge Road Brewers in the Beechworth Memorial Hall.You’ll dine on a restorative and delicious 3-course menu. Q and As with Mitch Docker and Simon Gerrans (plus more) as well as a full bar for all your rehydration needs. Not to be missed.
Recovery Rides presented by Specialized - Sunday April 24
Tired legs and heavy head?
Choose from 3 x 30km social gravel loops, each taking in different aspects of the Beechworth riding experience. Registrations are essential (and free) and will open the week of the event - Numbers on each loop will be capped at 30.
As an added bonus, join Specialized and recover on a Creo! Specialized are offering the chance to demo one of their gravel e-bikes for the ride on Sunday, taking the recovery to another level.
