’Hello race fans,

Short Track XC and Cyclocross has a new home in Nelson under the oversight and support of Nelson Mountainbike Club.

The 2020 series is starting June 21st at Cable Bay Adventure Park. Other race locations to be advised.

We will be following last year’s local format of 35 minute Short Track XC category aimed at beginners and serious MTB riders and a 45 minute dropbar only Cyclocross category.

New for this year is a kids grade starting the with shortened laps with less obstacles. We want to encourage youngsters and families to be involved. There will be an emphasis on fun, with lollipops and results certificates for kids afterwards. Parents are welcome to ride along with their kids. We will start with an under 10 and an under 5 grade and expand categories if attendance allows.
