Tell us about your bike!

My CX bike isn't anything special, we luckily had a friend selling a small cx bike. Its an older Niner with a mixture of components. Shimano cable disc brakes, single XTR chainring with generic carbon rims on Hope hubs.

You'll find me riding or racing in... (hometown and racing grade)

I often ride around Wellington on the road, mountain bike trails and occasionally a gravel ride or anywhere to practice CX skills. I race Huttcross around the Hutt in A grade.

My riding/racing is supported by...

I am able to ride thanks to mum and dad. My team also support me when they can and I have wheelworks backing me too.

In my day job I'm...

I still attend school as a year 12. I have a part time job to make some money for myself, too.

An interest I have outside of cycling is...

Outside of cycling I like to listen to and play music and hang out with my friends.

What brought you to cyclocross?

Mum and Dad were quite into the biking scene since before I was born and after we moved to NZ they were quick to find clubs and events. After bringing me along to watch the races I began racing Huttcross in the kids category maybe 10 years ago. I got more into road after a while but eventually came back a few years ago and have been racing ever since.

Tell us about your first race!
I don’t remember much about it because I was only 6 but I do remember at the end of the season it was dress up day and I raced in a Snow White dress. It go super muddy but I loved it.

What riding do you do aside from CX?

I ride and race Road Cycling, Mountain Biking and Track Cycling.

What's your proudest achievement in CX?

My proudest achievement would either be how much I have improved over the past couple years as well as winning the Womens U17 National CX title.
