Cyclocross is back (COVID restrictions dependent), so it’s time to inflate the 33mm tyres, lube the chain and remember what it is like to race in the red zone on grass and hop over barriers whilst smiling.
Grades (Women and Men together)
CX Freshers
Race duration: 20mins
Who is this race for? First time CX racer – this grade is for you. We at WACX really hope that you will love cross as much as we all do.
CX Sophomore
Race duration: 30 mins
Who is this race for? Done a couple of CX races (not more than seven) and want to remember what is required and how much fun CX is? This race is for you.
CX Senior
Race duration: 40mins
Who is this race for? If you have raced more than seven times in the past, then this race is for you! Please self-seed at the start line.
Information for juniors
U13 juniors will have the opportunity to ride the whole course.
U9 juniors will be doing the half lap (to save their parents’ backs!)
Licencing
All riders, including U9 & U13 juniors will need a Race Off-Road AusCycling licence at a minimum. Head on over to our Licences page to find all the info you need about signing up.
Entries will open in mid-February.
